As a Leasing Broker you will work in a professional business environment assisting small to medium sized businesses that acquire equipment. For more information see How Leasing Works. The type of equipment can be a wide variety of equipment used in a commercial environment such as computers, telephone systems, security systems and more. Leasing is used as an alternative to bank financing or using company funds. As a Leasing Broker, you will arrange the lease financing that brings together the Seller of the equipment (The Vendor/Supplier), the company that will be using the equipment (The End-User) and the Funding Source (The company that supplies the capital).
You will be trained on all facets necessary to start your own leasing company. The training will include industry knowledge, a full understanding of leasing as well as the sales and marketing process. You will be provided with a sales and marketing manual and an operations manual. Once you have completed your training you will be prepared to develop relationships with equipment Vendors, Funding Sources and businesses acquiring equipment. Canyon will also provide you with continuing support in all aspects of your business to include individual transactions, selling processes such as Vendor proposals, and relationships with Funding Sources.
You will be paid a commission on each individual transaction that you complete. The funds are paid to you by the Funding Source and can be significant. You are paid immediately at the time of funding and are not required to have any receivables.
